1. The Service

FundGuards is a portfolio tracking tool that lets you record transactions and holdings across multiple currencies and portfolios, and view calculated valuations, cost basis, and performance based on the data you enter and reference market/FX data we retrieve on your behalf.

2. Not financial advice

FundGuards does not provide investment, tax, legal, or financial advice, and nothing in the Service is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or asset. All figures shown (valuations, returns, benchmarks, and similar metrics) are calculated for informational purposes from the data you provide and from third-party market data, and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. You are solely responsible for any investment or financial decisions you make.

3. Your account

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account.
• Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
• If you use the Service on behalf of an organization or clients, you're responsible for ensuring you have the authority and any consents needed to enter their data.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's or tenant's data or accounts.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service's infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service without our written permission.

5. Data accuracy

Prices, exchange rates, and benchmark data are sourced from third-party providers and may be delayed, estimated, or occasionally unavailable. Calculated figures (cost basis, realized and unrealized gains, returns) depend on the accuracy and completeness of the transactions you enter or import. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any figure shown in the Service.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by FundGuards and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to the portfolio and transaction data you enter; we use it only to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or discontinue the Service, with reasonable notice where practical.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FundGuards will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including any investment or financial decision made in reliance on information shown in the Service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through the Service before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
